The One That Got Away . . .

Now not a day passed by,

Without me asking why,

Why? Why did u die?

I couldn't a thing but cry ..

I remembered our fight,

I was ignorant and I was not bright,

Probably I can't see the light,

And we never expected it would be your last night..

I felt my chest burn,

At night.. I twist and turn,

Cause It is that I yearn,

But all I got was a stupid lesson  to learn..

I pray to get better,

I pray I won't be any sadder,
I imagined myself climbing a ladder,

And hope was there, as I got higher..

So I never gave up,

Cause I know without a doubt,

My family and friends could cheer me up,

And Allah filled me with hope like an empty cup..

Relations are important I have to say,

Don't end things my way,

Because U'll regret it one day,

And in the end u, yourself will pay,

When u remember about the one that got away..
